Computer Engineer,

For getting admission in IIT, you first need to crack JEE Mains. Then you will be eligible for giving the JEE Advance. By crossing the cut-off, you can get yourself into IIT. For getting into NIT, you need to score well in JEE Mains. If you are from SC or ST, you need at least 120 marks for NIT. If you are from OBC or general, you need to obtain 160+ marks for an NIT. You need to gain 75% marks in 12th for appearing for the JEE advance.
Thanks.

Hey Shamil,
You need to clear Jee Mains and then Advanced in order to get into IIT. Talking about marks, it depends on multiple factors and you can't predict that accurately. You can check out the marks for last few years and set a target. You should also look out for some best alternate universities like BITS, SRM, Lovely Professional University etc which stand on the same notes of quality education.

Firstly, just make your question clear because after clearing 12th board exam, just clear the JEE mains and advanced entrance exam and clear the cut-off respective IIT and you're eligible for admission in B.Tech.
After doing B.Sc in science course, you can do MSc in IIT by clearing the entrance exam of JAM. After doing B.Tech clear GATE and do M.Tech. You can also do PhD in IIT. So, just make sure what you actually like to do and mainly focus on the course first college should be second priority because getting a desired course will only help you survive and helps you create your better future.
