You can't get admission in NIT through lateral entry because they take students only via JEE Mains.

Yes, you can take lateral entry in 2nd year, but it is more beneficial when all the subjects are same as in your present college. There might be a problem of adjusting with a new college and surroundings. The change can either be positive of negative. It is completely up to you as to how you manage the transition. As per the internet sources, there is no seat at DTU to choose B.Tech CSE through lateral entry. I don't know the exact reason behind this, but the truth is that there are no seats available for B.Tech in CSE through lateral entry.

The B.Tech lateral scheme is available at IPU-GBSIU for Diploma engineering and B.Sc degree holders students only. Hence, You are not eligible for B.Tech lateral admission.

About 40000 per semester in b.tech at bharthi university.this is the normal fee in all over india in every college.

Almost all colleges wherein admissions are controlled by state govt, lateral admission is allowed. If you check the website of DTE of tech edu of your state, you will find all the required information.

You need to appear in DTU LEET exam to get admission in DTU for preferred branch.

The number of seats available for lateral entry is actually not fixed. It depends on many dynamic factors. But roughly it can be as 10% of the authorised intake in that particular stream in that college.

Yes, you can get lateral admission in 2nd year of aeronautical engineering after completion of Diploma in mechanical engineering provided you fulfill other criteria if required. However, admissions are only in colleges of your state.

Now admission procedure has started, I guess. You can apply through official process or you can also apply for institute seats.

There is no way to get direct admission in DTU B.Tech lateral entry program.
You have to appear for LEET exam to get admission in DTU.

There are many private colleges, well-known, who offer lateral entry in second year of engineering if you have completed diploma in concerned topic. All such admissions are made based on guidelines issued by AICTE. In addition, normally, the state from which you have completed diploma, will have an entrance test for lateral intake in colleges of that particular state.
