An engineering student IIITian,

I was at KOTA and I had a phone with minimal specs 4 inch not android. I used to watch movies every Saturday on that phone. It must be your concern that it may lead to distraction and all. And you are right it surely leads to distraction. Only if you utilise it in a good way it can be productive. Which most of us don't do. Having a control over yourself matters. Keeping a phone is just a second part. First part is motivation. But my suggestion. Better [o be away from android in class 11 and 12. You will not regret surely.

Hello Radhe, there is still enough time. You have to first fill up form, appear and score more than cutoff in JEE Mains. Then you have to apply, appear and clear in JEE Advanced. Then the admission process begins. Normally ads are placed in all major newspapers about this and you simply can not miss. Best wishes.
