<p>IIT Jammu compared with the IIT Mandi has various pros and cons. Both the IITs are the best IITs present in India. You'll have to score more than 75% in your 12th . And also you will have to clear JEE Mains. These two things will make you eligible to sit in the JEE advance exam. Once you clear JEE advance you can apply for counselling and you will get one of the college as per your rank.

Yes, you can take admission in IIT in variety of courses. Like, say, if you want to take admission in B.Tech then you have to appear in IIT JEE.
If you want admission in M.Sc then JAM exam:

To get admission in IIT you need to go through JEE. If you missed the date then go for coaching if you really want to go for IIT and apply next year, else go for other universities.

Hi Pranav,SAT is not required for Indian applicants, so there is no need to stress over it. If you do take a score of 1450 is good. Check the application requirements on the websites. For Indian applicants JEE is the requirement.
