The admission at any of the IITs in India is based on your score in JEE advanced examination.
You should pass two exams for getting into IIT.
First JEE Mains (Joint Entrance Examination). It is a national level exam in which over 12 lakh candidates appear every year.
After getting a good score in that, you will be qualified to write JEE advanced exam.
It is an exam in which those 12 lakhs will be filtered to 2 lakhs. But it is not easy to pass that exam.
Only when you have a good score in JEE Advanced exam, you can get a good IIT.
With your JEE main scores, you can get admission into NITs, IIITs a... View more

There are no cut-off marks to get into IIT BHU. Admissions are taken on the basis of JEE Advanced ranks and through JoSAA counseling. If you want to get into the institute, you should aim to get a score of more than 50% in the paper and rank under 5000 to secure a seat in the college.
I hope this helps.
