Hello Shubham,
There are no particular cut off marks for getting admission into IITs. They vary every year. There are specific closing and opening for every IIT and that too varies.
So, I may say in terms of ranks. Your rank should be below 2000 or 3000 (for general category) to get admission into IIT Bombay for chemical engineering.

College selection expert,

Hello Bhavy,
For admission into IITs, you need not to score any specific marks, you just need enough marks to sit in JEE Advanced, and as far as mechanical branch of IIT Bombay is concerned you need to score above than 190 in JEE Advanced, marks may vary as per the cut-off.
All the best.

IIT Bombay accepts JEE Advanced scores. If we talk about the IIT Bombay 2023 cutoff, candidates had witnessed lenient cutoffs as compared to IIT Bombay JEE Advanced cutoff 2022. However, 11000 rank is quite more than the official cutoff released by the institute. You should at least have a rank of 9064 under General AI category. Further, candidates seeking admission under OBC AI category must aim a rank below 4004.

Hello Jonathan,
To get into IIT B, you have to clear two exams. Firstly JEE Mains and then JEE Advanced. Of course, you have to score above 75% in your 12th also. Then, for specific course in a specific IIT, you need to be in a relatively higher percentile bracket.
Best wishes.

The admission in B.Tech and M.Tech dual degree programmes in asked discipline at IIT-D were based on ranks secured in JEE-Advanced. Hence SAT scores are not applicable for this program. Further this course has been discontinued from 2019-20 and own wards. So no further admissions are available for this course.

Helping others is my habit.,

If you want to be an IITian, then you must have to start the preparation if JEE Main AND ADVANCE from now only with lots of hardwork, determination if you do not want to drop a year after 12th. Just go with the concepts of each topics carefully and practices every question of NCERT, then some good books of JEE Main. Practice previous year paper of JEE Main and advance also. Also try to get mock test of the exams and test series of some reputed coaching institute. Do self-study more and more.

Hello Avinash,
The minimum educational qualification for getting admission in this course is 12th or its equivalent. You have already done HSC meaning class 12th, so you are eligible for admission. However the admissions are based on an entrance exam called UCEED. I am attaching a link that will give you all the required information about this entrance exam as well as different IIT's and Institutions which accept this entrance exam scores for giving admission to their respective B.Des courses. Remember JEE mains or JEE advanced are not the qualifying exams or the entrance exams for this course.
