There is no set of rules. Every student is different and has their own style of studying, so you can surely look at some generalized tips over the web to study, but eventually you will have to figure out your own way and schedule for studying.

Hello Vivek,
To get admission into IITs for B.Arch, you need to write JEE Mains Paper 1 & 2. Then you need to clear JEE Advanced and after that, you should clear AAT (Architecture Aptitude Test) to get into IITs for B.Arch.
You can get NITs only with JEE Mains paper-2.

Hello Mahesh,
The admission into IITs is based on the rank secured in JEE main and advanced. In that exam the questions are asked from PCM only.
So you need to have PCM for sure.
If you plan to do software engineering or computer science engineering, etc. you need to opt for computer science besides PCM and if you want to do biotechnology, genetic engineering, etc. then opt for biology with PCM.
However, you can appear for the exam only with PCM as it is mandatory for any engineering course.

Hard work, smart work, dedication, guidance, are the most important thing. First of all, finish your 12th syllabus first then revise concept of 11th as burden of board exam will not be there if you will follow this method. You can take help of private tuition or coaching centres. Take advise from your school teachers as they know you better and also from seniors who have cleared IIT exam.

Hi,
Most colleges have a provision for Management quota. You need to contact the Institute officials personally for specific admission details as it differs from one college to another.
All the branches of engineering are equally good and have tremendous job opportunities. It entirely depends on how well you understand and handle the stream and increase your scope of growth.
Some demanding branches of engineering are:
1. Aeronautical Engineering.
2. Automobile Engineering.
3. Chemical Engineering.
4. Civil Engineering.
5. Computer Science and Engineering.

Hello,
There are lots of criteria. Among them you have to think like engineer and have to develop your brain like an engineer. And you have to perform smart work /smart study.
Now the academic criteria: You have to belong to science stream (PCM) (class 11th and 12th). You have to score well in JEE main, so that you'll qualify for JEE advance exam and then have to clear this exam. From next year, you will be qualified for the JEE advance exam, if you have scored 75% in class 12th exam as well as good score in JEE main.
All the best.

If you are a general/OBC candidate, 75 % or more marks are required to get into IITs and ISM, and for SC/ST it is 70% to be scored in their board exam.
Another option to get into IITs is to be in the top 20% percentile students of their respective boards .

College Selection Expert,

Hello,
Firstly, you have to give JEE mains exam with minimum 75% marks in class 12th and have to pass this exam with your category cutoff, then you have to go through JEE advance exam in which you have to compete with 2 lakh students in which you have to score under 10000 ranks, then you will get good IITs college.

Hello Mohit,
If you have not appeared for JEE Mains then IIT and many CGFI including NITs are out of the way. If your state is accepting JEE Mains score then that too is gone. I think your best chance is with few of the private colleges which admit students based on their own CET.
