It is not a good rank for a good government college, but you can get fee waiver seats in good private colleges and also in Rajkiya Colleges. Do your choice filling very carefully.

At 2970 GN rank, you can easily get a government college in your desired branch but I'll prefer you to check once your OBC rank as this can't be possible that your OBC rank is 8930.

You can choose any one if you want to take admission via reservation and if you have proper reservation documents, then you should go for BC.

There are very low chances for JSS, Noida but you can try for AKG and KIET (for core branches). If you want CSE, then you will definitely get CSE in ABES-EC. I will recommend you to go in all rounds of counseling. So, you can get KIET or AKG (for CSE or IT). If you have any queries, please feel free to ask.

You can get Bundelkand Institute of Technology, Jhansi for core branches and non-core branches. You can also get KNIT, Sultanpur and all the private colleges of UP without any problem.

You can't get government colleges at this rank and there are only 60% chances for private colleges too.

You have obtained a reasonably good rank. I feel with this rank you should get a govt college. These days it's only in Govt. colleges that fees are less or reasonable.

You can get some of the low-ranked government colleges. Else, you can try for some top private institutions in the state. Do your counselling wisely and get your desired college.
