Ready to help you!!!,

Hello, goal for getting admission in IIT. First, you need to clear JEE Mains, and then you need to get an AIR under 10000 in JEE Advanced to get admission in IIT. As you haven't cleared JEE Mains, so you are not eligible for JEE Advanced. It means, you cannot get admission in IIT. Better take a year drop and start preparing from now, through which, next year you may clear both the exams and take admission in IIT.

Therefore, just try to attempt 50%, stay calm, give your b... View more

This range is extremely near to the cut off rank of 6169 for the B.Tech. programme in Metallurgical & Materials Engineering in Round 6. This was under the All India Quota for the general category. You cannot afford to receive a lower score than this unless the candidate falls into a different category or is a different resident. There is a chance of being admitted with this rank, but as the cutoffs vary every round, getting in at a higher rank will undoubtedly boost your chances of being admitted to the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras.

Yes, to a certain extent. It has been reported that up to 4400 students have left the prestigious IITs and NITs in the last three years, and academic stress has been identified as one of the causes of this situation. Around 2060 students left the IITs (Indian Institutes of Technology) alone between 2012 and 2015. Well, it's odd that someone leaves a dream institution they entered, but there could be a lot of explanations for this.

Why not, apart from getting admission in IITs, your success story will be published in top newspapers also. It's really good that a 16 year old student is clearing JEE advance. Also, you will be an engineer at the age of 20. It is really great, if you make it. Work hard. Nothing is impossible. Best of luck.
