Yes, you will be able to get admission in AE. For getting into IITs, board exam marks doesn't matter, the thing that matters is JEE Mains and Advanced score. You should secure a rank under 10000 to get IITs and under 60000 to get good NITs.
Hello,
Firstly you should aim to score better in JEE Mains so that you become eligible for JEE Advanced. Then prepare well so that you are in the top 90+ percentile bracket.
Best wishes!

Yes one can get admission in IIT Tirupati if he/ she meets the eligibility criteria. For the B.tech courses you have to clear JEE mains and secure a good rank in JEE advanced and then participate in the counselling procedure. For M.tech you have to clear GATE and participate in the counselling procedure. For other courses like M.Sc you have to qualify JAM and for PHD you have to clear GATE, UGC-NET, CSIR-NET.

Yes, with that rank you can get into NIT, Trichy and also try for NIT, Raipur then MNIT-Jaipur for knowing the opening and closing ranks of JEE Mains. Follow the link josaa.nic.in
You need minimum 90 %ile for NITs and IITs.
Hello Ajay,
The ranks from 21,000-40,000 in general category can seek admission in any of the NITs but the ranks 40,000-2,20,000 can get under home state quota only.
Some NITs like Sikkim, Mizoram, Agartala, etc. have home state closing ranks till 10 lakhs but top NITs like Trichy, Warangal, etc. don't have them.

IIT Patna is the only IIT that offers a hybrid B.Sc. program in computer science and data analytics that does not require JEE scores.

This program, which was introduced in 2023, focuses on employable skills and is governed by the New Education Policy framework.

Since NEET is exclusive to the medical and allied fields, NEET results are not taken into account for admission to this program or any other B.Sc. program at IITs.

It basically depends upon you category. If you are from general category and Delhi resident then a rank about 1 lakh will get you a branch at least in DTU. Moreover, you should qualify JEE Mains for branch of your choice.
All branches have equal scope in IITs and NITs but I would say ECE branch has wide scope in public, private and government sectors. Many of my friends from ECE got placed in ONGC, GAIL and even in IT sectors as analysts.
Both IIT and IIM are different. You cannot appear for IIT exams without maths. Also IIM is for management course which can be taken by the student of any stream.

Hi Indal,
If you want to go for IIT then you will have to give IIT-JEE entrance examination in which you will have to score at-least 300 above out of 360 (JEE Mains) or 366 (JEE Advanced) to get a good college like IIT Mumbai. Further, you have to score at-least 75% in class 12th for being eligible for admission. So, start your preparations from now. Join a good coaching for your preparations. Hope your dream comes true. All the best.
With 150 marks in Advance you can expect IIT-Dhanbad, Bhilai, Ropar, Jammu and Goa. I would suggest IIT, Bhilai because of the incredible progress of Bhilai.
You can opt for B.Tech from a good institute apart from IITs. If you have interest in any particular science stream, you can go for B.Sc in the same.
For engineering courses, JEE is the only exam to get into IITs.
Taking up Science stream will enable you to sit for JEE Main exam after class 12. When you qualify, that is, cross over the limit set in the JEE Mains, then you can sit for JEE Advance. Performing well in Advance will get you into a IIT.
Note: If you qualify well ahead of the limit in the Main but you didnt get enough marks in JEE Advanced, you can get into a NIT.
