Design Engineer,

Yes, you will be able to get admission in AE. For getting into IITs, board exam marks doesn't matter, the thing that matters is JEE Mains and Advanced score. You should secure a rank under 10000 to get IITs and under 60000 to get good NITs.

Hello Ajay,
The ranks from 21,000-40,000 in general category can seek admission in any of the NITs but the ranks 40,000-2,20,000 can get under home state quota only.
Some NITs like Sikkim, Mizoram, Agartala, etc. have home state closing ranks till 10 lakhs but top NITs like Trichy, Warangal, etc. don't have them.

It basically depends upon you category. If you are from general category and Delhi resident then a rank about 1 lakh will get you a branch at least in DTU. Moreover, you should qualify JEE Mains for branch of your choice.

No dear,
For IIT, you must be in the top 20 percentile of boards and as far as I know for RBSE board, you should have above 75%.
After that, you have to crack JEE Mains and JEE Advanced paper to get into an IIT.

Both IIT and IIM are different. You cannot appear for IIT exams without maths. Also IIM is for management course which can be taken by the student of any stream.

Hi Mohd,
First of all, you need to clear JEE Mains to appear in JEE advance. After writing JEE advance, you need to qualify it. After qualifying only, the minimum marks can be declared. It varies every year depending on the toughness of the exam.
Best of luck.

Plan, work, chase, achieve. Simple.,

Taking up Science stream will enable you to sit for JEE Main exam after class 12. When you qualify, that is, cross over the limit set in the JEE Mains, then you can sit for JEE Advance. Performing well in Advance will get you into a IIT.
Note: If you qualify well ahead of the limit in the Main but you didnt get enough marks in JEE Advanced, you can get into a NIT.
