IIT does not offer economics through IIT JAM, but it does offer M.Sc Geophysics through IIT JAM. But, you must be the student of B.Sc Physics honors, then you can choose between M.Sc Physics and M.Sc Geophysics after clearing JAM. Here are four IIT's, which offer geophysics:
IIT Bombay M.Sc Geophysics (2year).
ISM Dhanbad M.Sc. Tech geophysics (3year)
IIT Kharagpur Integrated Ph.D Geophysics
IIT Roorkee Integrated M.Tech.
And, there are other universities too like,
BHU, Kurushetra University, Osmania University.

Candidates seeking admission to BTech can not get admission to IIT Kanpur with only the scores of JEE Main. JEE Advanced followed by JoSAA counselling is the final selection criteria followed by the institute. However, to be eligible for the BTech programme, students are required to have passed their Class 12 with at least 75% aggregate with Science subjects (i.e., Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics). <a href="https://www.shiksha.com/college/iit-kanpur-indian-institute-of-technology-25116...
The closing rank for IIT Hyderabad was 43. So, if you secure a merit rank of 100 in the UCEED 2026 exam, you chances of admission to the B. Des will be very low. To have a good chance of admission into the institute, you must target a UCEED merit rank within the top 40. However, note that if you belong to reserved categories, in that case the cut-off would be lower. Further, you will be considered for admission under both the reserved category and the open category.
