Admission to the B.E. / B.Tech. course at JP College of Engineering is primarily through the TNEA (Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions) counseling process. However, the college does have a limited number of seats available under a management quota. This management quota provides an opportunity for direct admission without a TNEA score, which can be an option for students who did not appear for the exam or did not secure a high rank. The fees for the management quota seats are typically higher, and you would need to contact the college's admission office directly for the specific process and fee details.

Yes, one can seek admission into B.E./B.Tech courses of Tamilnadu College of Engineering (TCE) other than through TNEA process. For students seeking to apply under All India quota, the admission is purely based on their performance in national level exams such as JEE Main. This would require applicants to have already registered and obtained a rank under the Tamil Nadu state quota, whereas direct candidates from other states without going through TNEA and applying through the college can take advantage of the eligibility requirements made available by the college.

The admission process in NITs and IITs are done through JOSSA counselling and CSAB counselling. If one qualifies for JEE Advanced they get option to apply for IIITS also. In JOSSA and CSAB you have to give your choice priorities. And then according to your rank you are alotted college. JOSSA also provides two mock rounds in which you can change your priorities. After that counselling process starts in which your college get upgraded in 5 rounds. And in each rounds you will get option to freeze, float and slide. Float is always proves to be best option. If you still did'nt get you desired college you can apply for CSAB counselling.

Yes, but last year it was JoSAA which was completed first. After that WBJEE counselling occurred by which one can take admission into JU. JU is a very good university. Placement is also very good. But not like IIT. But one preference in JU is that it takes much less money from you than any IIT.

Check out the JEE Mains 2018 Eligibility Criteria to clear every single doubt coming in your mind.
According to this, the candidates who have scored at least 75% marks in the 12th class are only eligible for appearing in the JEE Mains exam.
So, if you can't appear in the JEE Mains exam, then you can can't get admission in any of the NITs or IITs.
If you haven't scored 75% in 12th, then you can go for the improvement exam or the NIOS exam.
Hope this will help.
All the best.
