Hello Keerti,
The lateral entry admissions are generally offered for diploma holders who follow 10+3 pattern.
If you have discontinued your 1st year then you can appear for the entrance exams as you would satisfy most of the eligibility conditions.
So you can go for another college by that way and there is no other way to seek admission directly into a college.

Hi G 26,
The admission procedure differs from college to college and also depends on what you want to study. Atleast 55% in 12th is required by some colleges but top colleges will demand more percentage. Depending on what you want to study you must give additional exams like CET, JEE etc. All colleges announce their merit or cut-off list and will admit students who fall within those marks listed as cut-off. Counselling is also done by many colleges once you are shortlisted. Nowadays all the updates regarding admission are displayed on college website so you should keep yourself updated with these notifications and apply or prepare acc... View more

Hello,
If you want admission into CRIKMR then you must have already given your CET. You have to mention CRIKMR in your list of preferred colleges during the CAP rounds conducted by DTE. You can also visit the institute to inquire about institute level seats that are filled in by the college itself on the basis of merit. Ensure to carry the relevant documents while visiting the institute, so that you can apply for the seats at that time itself. Kindly call up the institute to check on the dates to apply for ILS seats.
All the best.
