For a general category applicant with a NEET rank around 2,46,000, getting an MBBS seat in a Government Medical College is extremely unlikely. Govt MBBS seats usually close much earlier in All India + State quota for General. Even in lower cutoff states, the closing ranks for government MBBS are far higher than 2.4L.
With this rank, practical options could include:
• Private MBBS colleges (fees are high)
• Deemed universities
• BDS (Govt or Private)
• BVSc, BAMS, BHMS, BPT, Nursing, Allied Health
• Dropping for another attempt if MBBS in Govt is the goal

The University of Delhi directly affiliates 3 major government medical colleges for MBBS:
1) Maulana Azad Medical College (MAMC)
2) Lady Hardinge Medical College (LHMC)
3) University College of Medical Sciences (UCMS).
These colleges along with others like Vardhman Mahavir Medical Colleges are affiliated with GGSIPU.

The Delhi University MBBS Cutoff was released for admission for all categories under the All India quota. The MBBS course is offered by MAMC, and University College of Medical Sciences. The MAMC cutoff was 381 in the first and last round for the OBC AI category, whereas for the other previously mentioned college, the cutoff ranged from 1167 in the first round to 2106 in the last round.

MBBS cutoffs for Mumbai colleges vary by category and college, with top government colleges like Seth GS (KEM) and Grant Medical College requiring very high NEET ranks with often under 1000-2000 for General category, while private or semi-government colleges have much lower, but still competitive, ranks with around 37000+ rank. General category candidates should aim for scores around 600+ for government seats in Maharashtra.

Yes, candidates from other states can also apply through All India Quota seats, NRI quota, or management quota depending on eligibility for admissio n to the MBBS colleges in Kerala including both private and government colleges.

Yes, qualifying the NEET entrance exam is mandatory for MBBS admission in Kerala colleges, including for both government and private quota seats, as per NMC regulations. Candidates just have to clear an entrance exam and participate in counselling process for admission.

Kursk State Medical University and Kazan Federal University are both well known universities, especially in MBBS program. Both the universities offer a 6-year course duration with not much difference in their fee structure. The basic eligibility criteria for the MBBS programme at Jamia Hamdard is pass in Class 12th with 50% aggregate. The accepted entrance examination is NEET, In the coming years, the eligibility requirement may change. Hence, keep visiting the official site for updated information.

For top Delhi government medical colleges like AIIMS, MAMC, Vardhman Mahavir Medical College, Lady Hardinge Medical College, typical NEET cutoff for General category candidates is very high, often above 650-670+ marks, while OBC, SC, and ST categories have lower but still competitive cutoffs, for e.g., OBC around 630-650+, SC 550+, ST 500+ depending on the college and quota, requiring excellent All-India Ranks.
