3D animation is the process of creating moving visuals in a three-dimensional digital space, where characters and objects have depth, volume, and realistic motion. It's widely used in films, games, product visualization, training content, and immersive media because it helps explain ideas more clearly and engagingly. Teams working in animation-focused environments, like the Vee Technologies Animation vertical, often apply 3D animation to transform concepts into visually accurate and story-driven outputs. When done well, it balances technical precision with creative storytelling to deliver impactful visuals.

Choosing between 2D, 3D animation, or animation filmmaking depends largely on the story, target audience, and production goals. 2D animation often works well for stylized storytelling and expressive visuals, while 3D provides depth, realism, and flexibility for complex scenes or interactive experiences. Animation filmmaking integrates both approaches into a cohesive narrative, focusing on pacing, composition, and audience engagement. Teams like Vee Technologies Animation leverage expertise across 2D, 3D, and film-style production to select the right approach for each project, ensuring visuals and storytelling align seamlessly.

Hi.
Yes AAFT teach software like AUTOCAD, 3Ds Max or Sketchup in its interior design course.
SketchUp and AutoCad are two popular software for designers, each with its own strengths and weaknesses. Interior designers prefer SketchUp for its user-friendly interface, quick 3D modeling, photorealistic rendering extensions, and integration with LayOut, making it an excellent choice for creating detailed plans.

In my opinion AAFT is better then ICAT in animation in Delhi NCR. ICAT has strong facilities and good curriculum, but AAFT gives more internships, project work and networking with actual animation studios.

If you want to study 3D animation, Chandigarh University provides a good setup. The 3D Animation Lab is made for hands-on learning. It has high-performance computers and industry software for complete 3D work. Students learn to design models, do rigging, add textures, and finally animate them. Rendering tools are also part of the lab, so projects look more real. You can try different parts of animation, like characters, backgrounds, or effects. The focus is on giving exposure to the real industry style of working. This helps students to slowly build skills needed in films, games, and virtual design.
