Admission to Indira College of Engineering and Management (ICEM) in Pune, India depends on the course and the entrance exam required: 

B.E. in Mechanical Engineering: Candidates must pass the MHT-CET exam if they are from Maharashtra, or the JEE Mains/MHT-CET exam if they are from elsewhere. They must also have passed a Diploma in Engineering and Technology with at least 45% marks. 

B.E. in Computer Engineering: Candidates must have at least 45% marks in 12th. 

M.E./M.Tech: Candidates must pass a national or state-level entrance exam and have at least 50% marks in their graduation. 

MBA/PGDM: Candidates must take the MAH CET, MAT, XAT, GMAT, CAT, CMAT, or ATMA exam. 

The selection criteria for the B.E./B.Tech course at BCET (Bangalore College of Engineering and Technology) are primarily based on the candidate's performance in relevant entrance exams. For Karnataka state candidates, admission is primarily through the KCET (Karnataka Common Entrance Test) score. For candidates from outside Karnataka, the COMEDK UGET (Consortium of Medical, Engineering, and Dental Colleges of Karnataka Under Graduate Entrance Test) score is commonly accepted. After obtaining a valid score in one of these entrance exams, candidates must participate in the centralized counseling process. During counseling, seats are allocated based on the candidate's rank, entrance exam score, and availability of seats in the desired branch. For candidates applying under the management quota, the selection may also be based on their entrance exam scores or through a separate screening process.
