The college provides wide range of BA, Bsc, BBA, MBA, MSc, MCA courses. Located in Banglore, Karnataka, it don't have much popularity among the prestigious institutions. Media visibility is also lower and their official website is not even working properly. So it might be a basic college in Karnataka and only have more like a local importance only.

Aakson Group of Institutions (AIMS) would fall under *Tier 2*. While it does have a set of courses, including an MBA, and there are some decent placement opportunities by some established firms, the status of the college and its infrastructure cannot be comparable to the IIMs, as the latter form *Tier 1* institutions. The skill development and industry partners have been their focus, but not the whole academic excellence that makes AIMS to *Tier 2*.
