No, IIT Delhi does not offer any direct admission to the MSc programmes. Students planning to apply for the IIT Delhi MSc programmes should apply for a Joint Admission Test. For JAM 2025, interested students can apply only through the JOAPS, which stands for JAM Online Application Processing System. Interested candidates will have to submit the application forms on the JOAPS Application Form, which can be found on the IIT Delhi website by the prescribed timeline.

IIT Delhi cutoff 2025 for BTech admission has been released for Round 1. The cutoff was released as opening and closing ranks for different categories of students belonging to the AI quota. During Round 1, the BTech admission cutoffs were between 125 and 5608, with CSE being the most competitive specialisation for admission. Tabulated below are the Round 1 closing ranks of all the BTech and Integrated BTech specialisations offered at IIT Delhi for General AI quota students.

No, the aspirants of BTech at IIT Delhi must have a valid score of JEE Main. The admission in Indian Institute of Technology (IITs) is through NTA JEE only. Moreover, students who pass the JEE Main exam also have to appear for the JEE Advanced examination. The candidates who pass JEE Advanced become eligible for admission in IITs. These candidates are further allotted seats through JoSAA counselling.

At IIT Kharagpur, students are able to sign up for minors and electives outside their main branch. To complete a minor, students must successfully complete a minimum of 6 subjects from another department, have a CGPA of 7.5 or higher and do not have any backlogs from the 5th semester. To continue in the programme, students must get a CGPA higher than 8.0. You choose 3–4 core subjects and finish the programme with a project or term paper. A CGPA of 7.0 and no backlog reports after the first year are needed for micro-specialization.
