ABBS

The students pursing a BA at ABBS are eligible to apply for any one of the various scholarships available at the B-School. All the scholarships are awarded on a first come, first served basis. To continue to the scholarship benefits beyond one year, students must maintain an attendance of at least 75% and secure passing CGPA in every exam. The eligibility criteria for various scholarships that BA students can apply for are mentioned in the table below:  

BA students at ABBS can apply for scholarships under various categories. Every scholarship has its own set of eligibility criteria, scholarship amount and a limited number of allottees. Students can apply for any one of the available scholarships. The categories under which ABBS scholarships are provided are listed below:

• President’s Scholarship
• Merit-based Scholarship
• Defence Personnel Scholarship
• Scholarship for Economically Backward Candidates
• Sports Quota Scholarship
• Single Girl Child Scholarship
• Scholarship for SC/ST Category

Getting an admission to BA courses offered at ABBS is subject to fulfilment of the eligibility criteria. If an applicant has scored over 45% in Class 12 (or equivalent examination) from a recognised board, they are eligible to apply for a BA at ABBS. While calculating the aggregate, applicants must include the scores of language subjects. However, meeting the eligibility criteria is not the only requirement to get an admission to the ABBS BA courses. The final selection is based on the applicant's performance in ABBSSAT, an aptitude test conducted by ABBS, followed by a personal interview.

Candidates are eligible to appear for different government exams leading to various jobs in the government sector after completing a BA from ABBS. These exams are held by various authorities. The following table presents some of the government job profiles one can take up after completing BA at ABBS:

ABBS BA admission is based on an aptitude test, followed by a personal interview. The B-School conducts its own entrance test for UG admissions, i.e.  Acharya Bangalore B-School Scholastic Aptitude Test or ABBSSAT. The ABBSSAT evaluates the applicants on various parameters including logical reasoning, quantitative aptitude, verbal ability, and general awareness.
