The full form of SSC is Staff Selection Commission. Staff Selection Commission is an attached office to the Ministry of Personnel and Training. It was established after the recommendation of First Administrative Reforms Commission (1st ARC) in 1975 as the Subordinate Service Commission through an executive resolution. The SSC GD physical result 2025 was released on October 13, 2025. The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) released the SSC GD result 2025 on June 17, 2025 after the completion of the assessment process. The SSC GD result has been announced at ssc.gov.in. Along with the GD result, the commission announces the force-wise and category-wise GD Constable Cut Off. The SSC GD marks 2025 will also be released. The SSC GD marks and score card contain the section-wise scores of candidates. The SSC GD result only contains the qualifying status, cut off marks and force-wise qualifying numbers.
The SSC GD physical date 2025 for the PET/ PST exam was announced by the CRPF. The Physical Efficiency Test (PET)/ Physical Standard Test (PST) of the SSC GD 2025 recruitment exam was carried out from August 20 to September 12, 2025 by the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), on behalf of the CAPF. Candidates must be of minimum 18 years of age in order to be eligible for SSC GD exam. The upper SSC GD age limit is 23 years. However, the Commission provides a relaxation in the upper age limit for all the reserved categories such as OBC, SC, ST, ExS and others. According to the SSC CHSL official notification, applicants must be between the age group of 18 to 27 years to be eligible to apply for the SSC CHSL exam, as per the cutoff date prescribed by the Staff Selection Commission (SSC). The upper age limit for the general category is 27 years, Whereas reserved category candidates are given age relaxation in the upper age limit. The SC/ ST category candidates get 5 years relaxation, OBC category candidates et 3 years and PwD category get 10 years relaxation.

The SSC recruitment process varies as per different exams. However, given below is the general SSC recruitment process followed for all the exams for the reference of candidates:

Step 3: SSC exam
Candidates have to appear for their respective SSC exams as per the details mentioned on their admit cards. It may be noted that each SSC exam is conducted in different parts/tiers/papers. For instance, SSC CGL is conducted in four tiers – two computer-based tests (CBTs), one descriptive pen-and-paper-based test (PBT) and one computer proficiency test/skill test/document verification round. Candidates must appear for each part/tier/paper to qualify for their respective SSC exams.

The age of candidates should be between 20 and 25 years. Relaxation in the upper age limit of five years is provided to SC/ST candidates and three years to OBC and Ex-Servicemen categories.

- Educational Qualification for all posts is a Bachelor's degree from a recognised university or equivalent.
- The programs in Engineering, Medicine, Dental, Nursing, Pharmacy, Architecture, and Physiotherapy, etc. are not permitted to be offered under Open and Distance Learning mode.
- Candidates who have not acquired the educational qualification will not be eligible and need not apply.
- For the post of Sub Inspector in Delhi Police (only) - Male candidates must possess a valid Driving License for LMV (Motorcycle and Car) as on the date fixed for Physical Endurance and Standard Tests. Otherwise, they will not be allowed to undergo Physical Endurance and Standard Tests.
