Acharya Bangalore B-School (ABBS) provides an MBA in affiliation with Bangalore University. Students can choose between to pursue an MBA or an MBA in Business Analytics at the B-School. Based on the Times ranking 2022, ABBS was the fourth best among the colleges ranked by Times in Bangalore. The B-School secured #34 position in the Times ranking. It was also ranked by Business Today at #107 in 2022.

ABBS MBA has been ranked by ranking agencies like Times and Business Today for two consecutive years. In 2022, Times rated ABBS at #34 for MBA. The Times ranking for ABBS showed an improvement as it was #45 in 2021. The B-School was rated at #107 by Business Today in 2022. In 2021, the Business Today ranking for MBA at ABBS was 101.

The curriculum for MBA in Business Analytics at ABBS is spread over a period of four semesters. In each semester, students have to study various subjects relavant to the domains of management and business analytics. In the third semester, students are required to undergo an internship. In the third and the fourth semester, students have to choose three and four specialisation subjects respectively.  Some subjects included in the ABBS MBA in Business Analytics curriculum are listed below:

ABBS MBA cut-off is different for the various entrance exams. The latest cut-off for ABBS MBA admission has not been released yet. In the meantime, students can refer to the following table containing the MBA cut-off in the previous years for two of the accepted entrance exams:

After the selection process, ABBS sends admission offers to the shortlisted candidates. Receiving an admission letter means the candidate has been allotted a provisonal seat for an MBA at ABBS. The next step is to confirm the admission within the stipulated time. For this, applicants must pay an initial deposit amount as mentioned on the admission letter. The deposit amount paid at the time of admission will be deducted from the fees due for the first semester. Applicants can pay this amount via a demand draft/Online transfer to the ABBS Account.

ABBS MBA admission dates are released on the official website of the B-School. The dates vary from year to year. ABBS is currently accepting applications for MBA admissions. As the MBA admission at the B-School is entrance based, candidates must also apply for one of the accepted entrance exams before their respective deadlines. The accepted entrance exams inlcude CAT, MAT, XAT, CMAT, etc.

Candidates seeking MBA admission at ABBS must qualify one of the various accepted national-level exams. The exams include CAT, MAT, XAT, CMAT, KMAT, etc. Additonally, candidates must also appear for ABBSSAT, an aptitude test conducted by ABBS. The final selection is based on the candidate’s performance in ABBSSAT, entrance exam, personal interview (PI) and their previous academic record.
