In the Maharashtra State Board's Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) examinations, the subject codes for Commerce stream subjects are as follows:
- Economics: 49
- Book Keeping and Accountancy: 50
- Organisation of Commerce and Management: 51
- Secretarial Practice: 52
- Mathematics and Statistics: 40
- Geography: 39

Once the candidates are shortlisted for admission BCom admission at RNTU Bhopal, they must physically report to the campus on the specified dates. They must bring along the documents required to confirm their admission. The admission is not finalised unless all the documents are verified. Some of the required documents are listed below:
