The university reserves certain seats for candidates belonging to specific belonging to SC/ST/SEBC categories. In addition, some of the seats are also there for Sports/Cultural/PD Quota categories. To avail a seat under these categories, aspirants have to submit the relevant documents. The seat bifurcation for the aided colleges is:
- Open quota seats: 50% in the case of aided/aided forward community Colleges and 40% in the case of aided backward Community Colleges
- For SC/ST candidates: 15% for SC and 5% for ST categories
- Community Merit Quota Seats: 10% in the case of aided/aided forward community Colleges and 20% in the case of aided back
