Jiwaji University admissions for BPharma course is merit-based. Students need to fulfil the eligibility criteria for admissions. The eligibility criteria is that candidate should have passed Class 12 with a minimum of 50% aggregate (45% aggregate for reserved category candidates) with General English, Physics, Chemistry and, Biology/ Mathematics (relaxation of 5% for bonafide SC/ ST/ OBC applicants of Madhya Pradesh only and, Physically Challenged candidates). - On December 11, 1964, Late Dr. Sarvapalli Radhakrishnan laid the foundation stone of this 225 acres of land at the Naulakha Parade Ground.
- The University was named after Kailashwasi Shrimant Jiwajirao Scindia and officially birthed on May 23, 1964.
