Students with B.Com degree have options of doing higher post graduate studies such as M.Com, MBA, MCA or PG Diplomas or LLB, MA in mass communication, MSW, etc. You had also do one year long PG Diploma in area of your interests such as Banking, Insurance, capital market, HR, sales etc. You can also do industry specific certifications such as LOMA, IIBA. BCS etc. You can professional courses such as CA, CS, CFA, CMA, etc.
CA is very prestigious but difficult to obtain a professional degree. M.Com focuses on commerce, accounting, management, and economics related subjects and prepares you for Finance and Accounting jobs in enterprises. MBA is a generic course on business management and administration and it focuses on functional areas of business such as accounting, finance, marketing, human resources, and operations. MBA provides wider options in different functions and various types of industries. Although you must do post graduate degree based on your interest area, I will recommend MBA with Finance specialisation for better career opportunities and growth.

Firstly I would recommend you to not join B.Tech from such a low standard college. If you are unable to get into a good college then you should go for any other professional courses like B.Sc in CS or IT from Hyderabad. It would shape your future in a considerable way. Talking about the FGIET, it is not a semi government college. It is 100% private college, so don't get fooled by them. Faculties in every department are below average and same for CS. So either you go for this damn nonsense course which is quite good and spoil your career as well as personality(as the RBL is a very backward city) or go for any other course from a good city and save your time and career. Sorry for being so harsh but it is the fact. Thank you!

1. Preliminary Examination:
The Preliminary Examination shall consist of only one paper on General Studies. The question paper will be of objective type consisting of 200 multiple choice questions. The paper will carry 200 (Two hundred) marks and will be of 2.5 hours (150 minutes) duration. The standard of the paper will be of the level of knowledge as expected of a Bachelor of Commerce of a recognized Indian University/Institute. The paper will consist of two (2) groups, viz Group A & Group B and shall be held on a single day. The paper will include questions covering the following fields of knowledge:

Preliminary Examination is meant to serve as screening test only. Marks obtained in this examination by the candidate will not be considered for final selection. Only those candidates who will be declared qualified at the Preliminary Examination in a year will be eligible for admission to the West Bengal Audit & Accounts Service (Main) Examination of that year.
2. Main Examination:
Main Examination shall be held in two stages, viz
(I) Written Examination, and
(ii) Personality Test.
