According to Calculus Readiness Requirement, international students are required to submit not just ACT but other requirements also.
The following will count as readiness for admissions purposes: SAT Math score of 620 or above ACT Math score of 26 or above
The other requirements are Advanced Placement (AP), Calculus AB or BC, International Baccalaureate (IB), Official high school/ university transcript showing credit for a Calculus I (or higher) course with a grade of B or higher.

No, Humboldt University of Berlin doesn't generally require ACT or SAT scores as part of undergraduate admissions. However, they require a German University Entrance Qualification (HZB), which applicants can generally obtain through the German Abitur or an equivalent national qualification. Additionally, the university looks into other factors for admissions, like strong academic performance, meeting the English Language Proficiency test score, personal essays, references (if any), and extracurricular activities.

Rowan Univesity does not mandate the submission of standardized test scores like ACT or SAT. However, it is recommended to submit them, nevertheless, as a high score in the same demonstrates academic potential. The average composite (50th percentile) for the ACT, SAT scores submitted by students, along with their GPA for Fall 2024 are given below:

A good ACT score depends on the college/university that you're applying to. However, an ACT score between 28-36 is generally considered good and is accepted by most of the top-tier institutions.

No, ACT does not refund the exam fee as the fee is generally non-refundable. The ACT exam fee for Indian and all other non-US students is USD 186.50 in 2025 (including only English, Reading and Maths sections).

Yes, but only for the Math section. You can't use it for Science. Make sure your gadget is on the approved list, like a TI-84. The test center wont give you one. If the battery dies, that is your problem. Bring a backup. It helps with difficult calculations but you don't need it for everything.

Yes, Maths is compulsary for the ACT exam as it is one of the three core subjects. The new ACT exam format in 2025 contains Maths, English and Reading sections as the core subjects. The Maths section will now consist of 45 questions which need to be completely in 50 min by the students.

The ACT test is conducted at various locations in the major cities of India. Some of these cities are Ahmedabad, New Delhi, Pune, Noida, Jaipur, Kodaikanal, Vadodara, Mumbai, Hyderabad and Chennai. Indian students willing to take the ACT exam to study abroad in the USA or other eligible locations can find complete details about test centres by logging into their My ACT accounts.

Students applying to Stanford from Fall 2026 and future years, an ACT / SAT score is required from Indian applicants. As such, no minimum test scores have been mentioned by Stanford. But, the students must aim to get the following scores in these standardized test scores: SAT: 1510-1570, ACT: 34-35
