Answering 75% of the questions correctly on the ACT translates to an estimated composite score of 25 to 27 out of 36.

Note that the scoring system is completely identical for Indian students and domestic US test-takers; there is no separate international curve or normalisation process. Because the ACT does not use negative markings, your score is calculated solely based on your raw number of correct answers.

Yes. Three months are generally considered ideal for ACT exam preparation. This duration allows for roughly 6 to 8 hours of weekly study (about 80 total hours), giving you enough time to learn core concepts, fix weak spots, and take multiple full-length practice tests without burning out.

The ACT test centre can be changed by logging into your My ACT account - before the registration deadline. Remember, there must be availability of a seat and exam resources at your new exam location. You will have to pay a 'change fee' of $49.00 and then print the updated admission ticket/exam booking receipt.

Official ACT scores typically take 2 to 3 business days to transmit electronically once the request is officially processed. However it generally takes an additional 1 to 2 weeks for the receiving college to download, process and update the scores into your personal student application portal.
