If acting is your interest you can do a certificate course in acting. For this, there are many Colleges like National School of Drama, AAFT, Anupam Kher Academy, Barry John acting studio etc. It would be good If you first pursue /complete your graduation from any stream or just go direct after 12th.
All the best.

It is advisible to pursue a course in acting after class 12th only. You may go for a Diploma in acting after class 10th but Acting is a risky industry. You can try your luck very hard to get into it but your education must be rest assured. I'd advice you to go for a Bachelors in mass communication or Bachelors in acting after 12th to get into it.
All the best.

Here is a step by step guide:
1. Jump into theater in high school. The path to acting careers can actually begin in high school plays and musicals.
2. Get experience outside of school.
3. Get educated.
4. Practice makes perfect.
5. Build up an acting resume.
6. Hire an agent.

Film making is also a part of Mass Communication. So obviously it will help you to develop your skills but up to a certain extent. The basics will be pretty clear to you.
But about acting it will actually not going to be much helpful.
All the best.
