PG courses and further studies: Graduates may go for relevant M.Sc. courses such as- M.Sc in Operation Theatre Technology, Anaesthesia Technology, Intensive Care Technology etc. M.Sc. courses last for a period of 2 years. Other than M.Sc. programs, graduates may also go for relevant PG Diploma as well as PG Certificate courses.

I would suggest that you take up medicine as your primary filed and acting as secondary. And if you do this as suggested and further think of joining acting then you can take up that as your first preference and probably then your parents will also support you.

You may select any stream of your choice. All you need to do is complete your 12th with good grades and then join an acting school.
