Branding is the creation of a brand and all the upcoming elements/features that are necessary for creating and establishing a brand. So to be really short, putting a brand on a product and then marketing the product with that brand.
Brand management is some sort of a maintenance. Once the brand is already in the marketplace, all the adjustments that follow are part of its management. It would be a series of managerial decisions that enable the adaptation of the brand to the current situation. Branding is not about stamping a trademark on everything, but guiding and managing relationships with your customers.
