Hi Kanhaiya, I am an ex-MAAC student. It is among the worst college for animation. Don't go for any advertisement or any top 10 list. Student normally attracted to college/institute based on infrastructure and location. Good teaching faculty should be the first priority. There is generally only one good teacher in one branch whose pay grade is 30,000 - 70,000. Rest of teachers are getting salaries around 7,00018,000. MOST OF THE TIME you will be studying from the low salary teachers, who themselves don't know what they are teaching. This should give you an idea how much you are paying and what services you are getting. Generally, there is batch of 10 students paying rs 3,60,000 each for 3 years and they have been teach by rs 10,000 pay-grade teacher. This calculates as 90% profit ratio for the person owning that institute. (rent, maintenance, franchise charges extra. )
So, you are paying fees to college for your study and instead you will be fooled for 3 whole years. And at the end of 3 years you would know that college will only give placement to 34 students out of one batch. Pay scale of placement would be rs 10,000 per month. Don't go for college based on first presentation given by them instead go with the college after talking to students which are studying in that college. Seniors studying in last year will guide you with best answers. Extra Points- Exams and entrance test are just for formality in animation field. All the best.
