Both the campuses offer quality education with excellent placement. Dayananda Sagar College of Engineering has an excellent infrastructure and their two campuses have excellent facilities. Aeronautical engineering is one of the rarest courses in the engineering section. The placements are assured by both campuses. The fee structure of both campuses is on the higher side. The faculty members of both these colleges are experienced and are very much supportive and guide students about their career. Dayananda Sagar College of Engineering always conducts technical fests and workshops which help students to get more practical exposure for them. Both the colleges are supported by foreign collaborations and they are very much intended to give a very handy education for the enrolled students of the campuses. They give guidance for the better future of the students. One of the major drawbacks of AE is that there are fewer placement opportunities after leaving the campus. If a student gets a job by campus selection they will be successful. It is difficult to search for a job outside.

If I tell you the truth, job prospects aren't that promising in India.
If you want to pursue aeronautical engineering, try going into premier institutes like IIST or IITs so that you would have decent opportunities for good jobs in the field.
Jobs for aeronautical engineers generally are:
Maintenance of an aircraft: Aerospace engineers test new aerodynamic and aviation systems, and maintain them.
Aircraft designer: Aerospace Engineers specializing in this field deal with designing, constructing, and testing aircraft, missiles, and spacecraft. They may conduct basic and applied research to evaluate adaptability of materials and equipment to aircraft design and manufacture.
Aviation engineer: Aerospace engineers in this field deal with the airport design, aircraft navigation technologies, and aerodrome planning.
Defence: Aeronautical engineers in this field deal with creation, maintenance and deployment of defence aircraft such as fighter jets, choppers, bombers, etc. Also, the job requires being able to handle such aircraft at necessary times.
You can work in the government sector with ISRO, DRDO, HAL, etc. We can also look at the private companies such as L&T, Godrej & Boyce aerospace, Boeing, Airbus, Mahindra, etc.
You can also go for Indian Air Force and Indian Navy.

Bharath University is a good university for technical education in South India.
This University is ranked 35th in MHRD ranking among all Indian engineering college. This college has 4 campuses but mainly in Chennai with a good campus life and total facilities for their students.
Aeronautical engineering is the study about the design and systems of an aircraft. There is a lot of scope for aeronautical engineering branch in government sectors and departments.Through this course, students also get a chance to study in NASA.
Placement is average in this university. The placement ratio is around 50 to 60%. The average package is around 5 Lakhs per annum.
But in future, the placements in aeronautical engineering will increase with good packages as this field is developing much in our country.
Companies like TATA Motors, Tech Mahindra, Reliance Industries and L&T are the bulk recruiters. Other than these companies , many companies like ITC, Zydus, Torrent , Sun pharma, Apollo, Ultratech etc takes students from here.

Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) Lateral Entry courses are offered by multiple universities. The Lateral Entry program enables candidates with a 3 years diploma in engineering or an equivalent degree to get admitted directly to 2nd Year (3rd semester). Eligibility criteria to seek admission in B.Tech Aeronautical Engineering is 3 years Diploma in Engineering granted by the Board of Technical Examination of a State Government or passed B.Sc Degree from a recognized University with atleast 45% marks and passed Xll standard with Mathematics as a subject. Well if you want to do B.Tech in aeronautical choose some of the premier engineering colleges.
As far as DIAS is concerned it is not a very reputed college in terms of all infrastructure, placement, research etc. When you talk about aeronautical you have to be more cautious as it is one of the main branches of engineering and have to be carefully select the institute. Following companies are the recruiters for engineering:- Infosys, TCS, Tech Mahindra, Genpact
The lowest package was Rs 3 lakhs and the highest package was about Rs 8 lakh for the students of CSE.
