If you are thinking of lateral admission then answer is no. Lateral admissions are allowed only in related subject.However, if you treat diploma as equivalent to 12th, then you can join IIT also in first year of any subject.

Generally, most of the students from aeronautical end up in IT jobs.
This is because hardly any companies visit the campus for core placements.
According to what its students said on various sites, last year only three core companies visited the campus and picked only a handful of students. One of these companies were Unitech transfer, German company offered the highest package of 21 LPA. But this is only for super talented students.

Faculty on a scale of 10 could be rated around 7.
Though they lack experience in teaching S4 syllabus of VTU it is comfortable enough they have adapted NBA accreditation policies which enables to know the course outcome with the feedback system in the next semester.
Other if you are interested looking for sports to be encouraged trust need that is not the right place to enter in the MVJ College.
Placement:
Placements there are hardly any core companies that come for an aeronautical engineering do none of the students got place in core companies even outside few of them were placed at TCS

If doing graduation in aviation field is your interest then its fine but if you are opting for aeronautical engineering just because you are having a misconception regarding highly paid jobs (after completion of graduation in aero.) then let me clarify few things.
There is a huge misconception in students (especially who seeks a career in engineering field) that after doing BE/B.Tech in aeronautical/aerospace, they will get highly paid jobs in aero core companies or airlines. But the reality is very much different. Requi

MIT is a place which enables you to become what you aspire to become in your life. The college has limited number of seats in each department which helps professes to concentrate more on each student the exams are purely based on testing the concepts which the students have learnt from the lectures rather than usual theory paper apart from studies college offers various classes to enhance our skills like foreign languages dance and sports

JEE Mains needs to be cleared with good marks to get admission in any of the NIT's in any branch including Aeronautical. If you want to get admission in any IIT then you have to score above cutoff of JEE Mains and then score good marks in JEE Advanced.
For admission into your state, you need to clear entrance exam of the state.
