Hello Jonathan,
To get into IIT B, you have to clear two exams. Firstly JEE Mains and then JEE Advanced. Of course, you have to score above 75% in your 12th also. Then, for specific course in a specific IIT, you need to be in a relatively higher percentile bracket.
Best wishes.

AME professionals are tasked with the maintenance of an aircraft, its parts and engines. As the name suggests, AME professionals have to deal with service and maintenance of aircraft and make sure that they are flightworthy. It is a technical training course (3 years long) that will help you acquire an aircraft maintenance engineer license (issued by the DGCA). The minimum eligibility criterion for getting admission into any one of the institutes is 10+2 or equivalent with 50% marks in physics, chemistry and mathematics.

Hi Vinodpuri,
US is an expensive destination and top universities are expensive. You may check state universities like Ohio State University, Arizona State University, Oregon State University etc. Please state if you are looking for Masters, if yes you must take the GRE.

Hi Neelam,
It is a good choice. If you will pursue B.Tech in electrical engineering, then your field will change. You can easily crack any exam related to electrical engineering, but if you want to pursue aeronautical engineering, then you must go for it.
All the best.

Hello Vinodpuri,
Aeronautical Engineering is an engineering branch in which one learns about anything and everything about flying objects. They teach about materials, about metallurgy, about chemistry, about fluid dynamics, lots of mathematics etc. It will prepare you to design flying objects. However, it will not teach you about how to maintain an airplane.

Hi Ayush,
Both the universities are among world's best universities. For engineering MIT is unbeatable but getting admissions is not easy and unless you have an outstanding profile admissions and also financial aid is difficult. Please check the university websites for admission requirements and prepare accordingly.
