All the three fields i.e. aeronautical, IT and petroleum engineering are equally good. As per the market trend, opportunities and scope in order of precedence are as follows: IT, petroleum and aeronautical engineering.

Yes, there is a college in West Bengal. You can get admission through WBJEE but there is no college which offers admission without an entrance test.

Considering aeronautical specifically, the placement scenario is not so good. Not many companies come for the domain of aerospace specifically. Other than that the infrastructure and faculty of aeronautical is really good. We have properly maintained labs with good equipment and professors who are very knowledgeable too. Hostels are amazing in Manipal compared to other colleges. There are lot of facilities available for students for their comfort.

Yes, you can pursue aeronautical engineering after completing Diploma and you will also be eligible for direct 2nd year entry in BE/ B.Tech.

The best options are computer science engineering and mechanical engineering. Both the fields have better scope as a career and these are evergreen fields. You will find lots of opportunities available in this field. Aeronautical engineering is also good, but there is less scope in India.

You should be qualified in 12th standard or equivalent examination with science stream with physics, chemistry and mathematics as the main subject. You should score a minimum of 80% marks in 12th standard and must qualify AIEEE, BITSAT, JEE with a good score.
