CU offers a merit-based scholarship scheme for JEE Main rank holders. Students with a good All India Rank (AIR) in JEE Main can get from 10% up to 100% semester-fee waiver under the “JEE-Mains Performance Based Scholarship” plan. 

This scholarship scheme applies to engineering courses broadly, which suggests that if you get admitted into Mechanical / Mechatronics / Aerospace via CU's regular admission process, your JEE Main status could help reduce fees under that scheme.
