PEC conducts a test every year to take admission in that college.
Hurry up, you have to visit PEC for admission.

Even if you are eligible,bi will request you to pause and think. Is it really worthwhile to pursue engineering? Plenty of students leave midway since they are not able to cope up, wasting precious time. I would advise you to leave obsession of engineering and go for commerce, Humanities, fine arts or any field in which you have interest.

After completing Diploma, one can get lateral admission in the 2nd year of engineering or use Diploma as equivalent to class 12th and get admission in the 1st year. Now, if the Diploma is in mechanical, then for lateral entry there will be restriction as to which branch you can get admitted. However, if you are using Diploma as equivalent to class 12th, then you can get admission in any branch of engineering.

Indian Aerospace and Engineering is an institute, which is actually not an engineering college, but an institute that trains in aircraft maintenance that is approved by DGCA.

Admissions to NIT's is through JEE Mains. Admissions to IIT's is through JEE Advanced. For Advanced, one has to go through Mains. For colleges in states, one has to go via CET.

I think you are not eligible because you are beyond the acceptable window for passing of 12th. What made you wait for almost 4 years? Now, you can attempt Engineering via AMIE.

Admissions in TN are governed by eligibility rules link for which I am attaching. Robotics is a challenging field. Aerospace has perhaps limited job opportunities in India.

Yes you can pursue Aerospace engineering in India provided your 12th is recognised in India. Private Institutions have management quota by which you can get admission or via JEE Mains.
