Hello Krishna,
It's really good to know your dream of becoming an engineer from IIT. Nothing to worry. Diploma holders are considered as equivalent to 12th. I hope you have scored 75% here, as it's minimum required. Now you appear for JEE Mains and then JEE Advanced. Score good marks and admission is yours.

Dear Veersha,
In India, studying aerospace engineering is really a chance matter. Because Indian aerospace industry is not as developed as of western countries. But don't worry, if you are getting a seat in IIT- Bombay, Madras or Kanpur, then you don't have to put your concern in placement. So, if you want to do aerospace engineering in India then you must go with above mentioned college otherwise go to USA or Japan.
Good wishes dear.

Hello Venkatesh,
After completing Diploma, one can get lateral admission in the 2nd year of engineering or use Diploma as equivalent to class 12th and get admission in the 1st year. Now, if the Diploma is in mechanical, then for lateral entry there will be restriction as to which branch you can get admitted. However, if you are using Diploma as equivalent to class 12th, then you can get admission in any branch of engineering.

Hello Hitesh,
I think you are not eligible because you are beyond the acceptable window for passing of 12th. What made you wait for almost 4 years? Now, you can attempt Engineering via AMIE.
