The eligibility criteria for B.Tech Aerospace Engineering at IIST is given below:
(A) Eligibility criteria : Minimum Marks Requirement in Qualifying Examination: Candidates must have secured at least 75% aggregate marks in the Class XII (or equivalent see below for list of Qualifying Examinations) Board examination. M.Tech in aerospace engineering eligibility:
BE/ B.Tech or equivalent degree with minimum 50% marks or equivalent CGPA. Some of the very reputed institutes conduct entrance examination for admission to the degree course.

If u are going for engineering then percentage of your class 12th matters not of class 10th. It differs from college to college but in sum college they even take aggregate of marks obtained in pcm only.
