Yes, degree in many disciplines of engineering is acceptable for doing M.Tech in aeronautical/aerospace engineering branch. But I am afraid CSE finds no mention. I am attaching a link that will give you all the required information about the eligibility for different specialisations in M.Tech.

The placements of this branch are quite tough to get and I would strongly advise you to not venture into it, leaving your CSE.

Hindustan University conducts this entrance test for admission to engineering branches. There are many variables which will determine the cutoffs in this examination for getting admission. These are: the number of students who appear, the difficulty level of the examination, difficulty level of different examinations conducted by different institutions and admissions of the students in respect of those. Hence, it is difficult to say what the cutoff will be as for the marks are concerned but different sources indicate that if you can get a percentile of 60 and about your chances of getting desired branch are very bright. Yes, you are eligible. The minimum qualification for admission to this field is BE or B.Tech with at least 50% (60% for IITs) marks in aggregate or equivalent CGPA from a recognised university and a minimum of 60% in class 10 and 10+2. The preferred undergraduate courses, for admission to M.Tech aerospace Engineering are B.Tech/B.E. in Aerospace/ Aeronautical/ Avionics/ CSE/ ECE/ Mech/ EEE/ EIE. The admission process for the course is varied as various institutes have their very own criteria and process of admission.
The admission to this course in any of the IIT is through the candidate's performance in the Graduate Aptitude Test

Yes, Jain University indeed offers lateral entry to diploma holders. But they need some additional qualification also. I am attaching a link that will give you all the required information about lateral entry in Jain University.

Your rank is far beyond to get admission in RVCE Bangalore, so look forward for any other colleges. However, if you are inclined for RVCE, only then you may take admission via management quota.
