1. A 10+2 examination (Pre-University Board Examination) with physics, chemistry, and Mathematics that are recognized by any State Board / Central Board (with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks).

In India, several technological universities including the IITs offer courses in aeronautical engineering, both at undergraduate and post-graduate level.
The basic eligibility criteria for BE / B.Tech programme is 10+2 Science (Physics, Chemistry and Maths) with a fairly high percentage of marks in the aggregate. One must pass the qualifying exam i.e. IIT-JEE for admission into Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) or the SRMJEE to apply to the aerospace engineering programme they have.
For M.Tech programme in aeronautical engineering, one should have completed degree in (BE/B.Tech) aeronautical engineering or any other equivalent branc

It's really good to know your dream of becoming an engineer from IIT. Nothing to worry. Diploma holders are considered as equivalent to 12th. I hope you have scored 75% here, as it's minimum required. Now you appear for JEE Mains and then JEE Advanced. Score good marks and admission is yours.

In India, studying aerospace engineering is really a chance matter. Because Indian aerospace industry is not as developed as of western countries. But don't worry, if you are getting a seat in IIT- Bombay, Madras or Kanpur, then you don't have to put your concern in placement. So, if you want to do aerospace engineering in India then you must go with above mentioned college otherwise go to USA or Japan.
