As per my understanding, Civil Engineering has more career scope. Civil Engineering is the branch of engineering where more precision is required in executing theoretical knowledge in real-time projects. If that knowledge isn't sufficient, blunders can happen. So, if one is thinking of opting for civil engineering, more precision is required in terms of choosing the college. Civil engineering is a professional engineering discipline that deals with the design, construction, and maintenance of the physical and naturally built environment, including public works such as roads, bridges, canals, dams, airports, sewage systems, pipelines, structural components of buildings, and railways
As per my understanding, Following are the Private Engineering Colleges :-
Birla Institute of Technology and Sciences (BITS), Pilani. Birla Institute of Technology (BIT), Mesra. VIT Bhopal University. SRM University Sonepat. Amity University Noida. Geeta University
Nirma University of Science and Technology.

Sandip Foundation is only about showing off the infrastructure and scenery to lure prospective students.
All other things are negative about the college. It has got the extra strictness to maintain its reputation.
Campus placements are just a gimmick to fool people.
One can safely say that only those people attend Sandip who do not get admitted elsewhere, so you can think of the kind of atmosphere that you will find there.
The canteen facilities are utterly useless and lack of any taste whatsoever.
The authorities and staff are only cared about their reputation and not about the students. The teaching quality isn't worth it.
I am waiting for finishing my engineering quickly and get out of this hell to attend some other college for my Master.

If you want to get into research programme M.Sc, then I think a rank of up to 200 will be fine, but there will be a detailed technical interview. For the course programme (ME), a rank of 30 may or may not get you a seat. A rank of under 10 definitely will, this is generally applicable for all the different streams of GATE through which the Aerospace programme at IISc admits students. The course programme is fairly intensive with 15 courses and A.M.E. Project. My friends used to stay very busy with so much coursework. The research programme has 1 to 1.5 years of research involved and 1-2 publications are expected, course requirement is minimal and only 4 courses are required. The M.Sc. Programme is designed to help the faculty to have students do their research, so it is entirely in their hands to let you graduate, just like in a Ph.D. The M.Sc. could take at least 2.5 years in most cases. Placements vary greatly from year to year. Companies that visit are Airbus, GE, Rolls Royce, Eaton, GKN aerospace, Timetooth etc. It might happen that a student with a good GPA also might have to apply off campus. Some companies don't have openings for M.Sc. Students.
