The cutoff trend for B.Tech at IIT Bombay - Indian Institute of Technology has been increasing in the recent years. In 2021, the closing rank for B.Tech. under general category for all India quota was 2118. In 2022, it increased to 2119. Likewise, the cut off ranks have changed from 1149 to 1211 for OBC, 589 to 726 for SC, 504 to 396 for ST, 476 to 496 for EWS, 7 to 164 for PWD. This trend is likely to continue in the coming years, as the demand for engineering education in India continues to grow. Similar cut off trend can be seen for female candidates under all categories however the ranks are slightly different.

Opening and Closing rank depends on the category and quota of candidates. For general category under All India, opening rank was 2119 and closing rank was 2119. Cut off are different when it comes to other categories or female candidates and even domicile of home state. In All India, opening and closing rank for female candidates was 3968 and 4081. Admission to B.Tech. in Aerospace Engineering in IIT Bombay - Indian Institute of Technology is based on the scores obtained in the entrance exam JEE. Applicants are advised to confirm what category are they applying while checking for cut offs.

For 2022, cut off was 2119 for General category candidates in All India quota for B.Tech. in Aerospace Engineering in IIT Bombay - Indian Institute of Technology. For female candidates in general category under All India quota, 4081 was the closing rank. B.Tech cut off varies depending on the category and domicile/quota of the applicant.

Cut off are differant when it comes to other categories or female candidates and even domicile of home state. In All India, opening and closing rank for female candidates was 9700 and 10,155.
