To assist students financially, IIT Bombay offers several scholarship schemes which include Institutes Scholarships, government. Scholarships, Private Scholarships, and Fellowships for its Ph.D. students. For every scholarship, there's certain eligibility required to get the scholarship award.

Aerospace Engineering is all about aircrafts, rockets, and spacecrafts also. It is a very big field. Basically there are four sub branches in aerospace engineering in which you can specialize. Aerodynamics, structures, control systems and propulsion. So as per you interest that you'll develop while you will be completing your degree you can chose one and specialize in that field. Talking about employment opportunities, I would say that there is not much scope (there are but not at a very large scale) in India. Placements: Almost 80% of the students get placed from the college. Top recruiting companies like Rolls-Royce and Boeing visit college for placements. The highest salary package offered is 40 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 9 LPA. While The average salary package offered is 12 LPA.

According to media reports, 1,722 students registered for the 2023 placement process. At the end of session 1.1, a total of 445 offers were made. Among these, 25 offers were of packages above INR 1 crore per annum. Further, 15 international offers were received from four companies.
