Aerospace engineers and mechanical engineers both work on the development and construction of equipment and devices. However, the field of aerospace engineering is more narrow than mechanical engineering. Mechanical engineering is a particularly broad field, encompassing work done in a wide variety of industries and serving a multitude of purposes. LPU environment is so conducive to learning. It is perpetually ranked as a top private engineering college in India. Highlights/Achievements of Aerospace Engineering at LPU:
The students with the guidance of the department and University are very active in the field of automobile research and

Aerospace engineering is concerned with designing and building aircraft and spacecraft. Aerospace engineering can be divided into two specializations: aeronautical engineers, who handle aircraft, and astronautical engineers, who design spacecraft. In simple terms it as below:
Aeronautical = helicopters, airplanes, uav, aircrafts, flying quads, etc. Aerospace = aeronautical + space Science (missiles, rockets, satellites, etc. )
My brother has done Aerospace engineering from LPU. Fee per semester is 98,000 INR without scholarship. Aerospace is a specialised branch of engineering which deals with the design and development of aircraft's as

Aerospace engineering focuses on designing both aircraft and spacecraft and it is a study of all the space crafts used within and out of the earth's atmosphere while Aeronautical Engineering is the study of aircraft that operates within the earth's atmosphere. Being an alumni I want to share my thoughts on this as my sister has done the same course from LPU itself. Aerospace is a specialised branch of engineering which deals with the skills and knowledge to design, manufacture and maintain spacecrafts, aircrafts, missiles and weapons systems. The course curriculum covers aspects of two branches of engineering - aeronautical and astrona

Dear Avinash, I have no idea of eligibility for the B.Tech in Aerospace Engineering at IIT but being alumni of LPU, I would like to share the details of this programme at LPU. Aerospace is a niche area, the skills required in the industry are beyond the course curriculum of most of the universities. LPU has recognised this and developed the curriculum in consultation with the industry. It has even set up a center for space research with a mission control facility. LPU has set an ambitious goal of developing a satellite LPUSAT-1, which will be launched next year (2021) The Center will enable students and researchers to communicate with

Though all the colleges are good in academics but being an alumni let me share the details for LPU. Aerospace Engineering is designed for learners who intend to design aircraft, spacecraft, satellites and missiles. In addition, these engineers test prototypes to make sure that they function according to plans. These professionals also design components and sub-assemblies for these craft like engines, air-frames, wings. Industry certifications, MOOCs, Hackathons / Co-curricular Competitive events, Workshops, Guest lectures, Educational Trips, Live projects, Incubation projects, Community projects, projects with NGOs etc. Are an integral
