Aerospace Engineering in Chandigarh University is really Good. The department developed a lot and has more to do and explore with the lab facilities available.
Its a place where teachers always ask to do something new beside learning about aerospace. These new outcomes from the pupils of the departments results into Review Papers, Research Papers and Patents. And indeed Aerospace Department holds a good rate of filing patent and publishing papers in its Bachelor course only!
Its a place where you can feel that passion of doing aerospace, as your ideas are always welcomed first!

Hello Thishal8, theoretically speaking, the industry that produces aeronautical components is colloquially called aerospace industry and the study of this is called aeronautical engineering. However in India, there are some colleges offering aeronautical engineering while others offer aerospace engineering! Practically both are same. MIT Chennai does have this branch. Hello Sarah Aleyo, in India, basic eligibility for admission in any degree course is passing of 12th exam. This exam is conducted by boards in different states and also a central board. If you are studying abroad for your schooling, you need to do 12years of schooling as minimum for seeking admission in any graduation course in India. Best wishes to you.

Hello T Narpavai, I am afraid, job prospects for aeronautical engineering graduates is not rosy. In India, at least presently, job prospects are low. Majority of fresh graduates end up doing M.Tech or MBA. But then government of India has now allowed entry of private companies in space sector and hence four or five years from now, we can think of much better prospects of graduates of aeronautical engineering branch.
