As per the syllabus and marks distribution of AILET, the weightage given to various sections are as under.
1. GK=35 Marks
2. English=35 Marks
3. Legal aptitude=35 Marks
4. Reasoning= 35 Marks
5. Math= 10 Marks
So, total number of questions and marks are 150 and 150 respectively. The exam duration is 150 minutes. You have to practice for s. no. 1 to 4 at least for 3 hours daily. Read leading new papers daily for at least one hour. Your main focus should be on first 4 sections. Try to solve the old question papers available on NLU, Delhi website after making the payment.

Yes, AILET is compulsory to get in NLU Delhi and on the other hands CLAT is basically conducted to get in all remaining National law University, so you can't go in NLU-D through CLAT.
AILET is scheduled to be conducted in May month.

It is not a question of which one is better, it should be a question of preference of the institution. AILET is only for NLU-D, while CLAT gives you an opportunity to apply for 18 National Law Universities, including NLSIU Bangalore and NALSAR Hyderabad, which as per some rankings are better than NLU Delhi. ISAT India is a national level entrance test organized by the Pearson VUE on behalf of LSAC India. Through ISAT India, applicants are granted admissions to BA LLB and LLM. programs offered by over 70 law colleges in India.

AILET exam is conducted every year for admission in NLU-Delhi but CLAt exam is conducted for admission in all NLUs and also through CLAT you can also get admissions in various other private colleges like Narsee Monjee, Amity, etc.

Yes, all NLUs except NLU, Delhi requires CLAT for admission but NLU Delhi requires only AILET for admission.
