The cabin is one of the most promising careers in the aviation sector. The cabin crew are a combination of air hostess(Fem,ales) and air stewards(males). The ratio of selection of stewards against that of air hostess is generally 3:7.So in a crew of 10 you would expect 3 stewards and 7 air hostess. There is no such reason, the overall approach is to reduce the weight of the aircraft as males weigh more than females, however there is no rule on the same.

The requirement of certificates/degree or qualification of any sort entirely depends on the profile & industry that you wish to pursue.
The basic eligibility for aviation industry at large is at least a graduation in any field. In some cases one needs to have some qualification to be able to fulfill one' job responsibilities and increase chances of selection, however in majority of the airlines it is good enough to have a basic graduation and basic requirement of height, weight etc and you can directly go for an interview.

Although, the salary packages may vary depending on the organization &job profile but be assured that the aviation & tourism industry is one of the highest paying industries globally.
Definitely due to the extra flying hault, longer transits the international crew are paid more, start off with, the salary of an air cabin crew member is anything between Rs. 20,000 and Rs. 25,000 per month in domestic sector airlines. In international airlines one can easily earn Rs. 50,000 - 80,000 per month, with senior personnel drawing up to Rs. 75,000 per month.
Hope this helps, All the best

This depends on the selection policy and the level that you apply for. Some airlines will require some customer service experience. This can be in any type of situation that brought you into contact with the public in some capacity. Usually, if you can demonstrate in your interview that you are aware of and can perform effective customer service, you are considered qualified. However if you apply for a senior post of a flight pursuer etc then experience is a mandate.
