Hi Pihu,
Many airlines won't accept applicants who have noticeable blemishes on their arms, Emirates do a full body check for scarring and tattoos. Small scarring can be acceptable.
However with changing times the airlines are rephrasing their hiring guidelines, where they have more focus on the attitude.

Cabin Crew is one of the good career option as it offers good career prospects and excellent growth opportunities not only in India but across the globe Eligibility:
-Physical requirements
- Height for Air Steward - minimum of 172 cm to 190 cm with proportionate weight.
-Graduates is a compulstion for international airlines in the age group of 19-25 years for training. Preference is given to Degree or Diploma holders in Hotel Management/Tourism.
-International Airlines recruit flight attendant in the age group of 18-35 years.

The role of cabin crew has so many facets and will help collect a lot of skills during our career, not just things like problem solving and people skills but also first aid, languages and an understanding of different cultures. Their are huge possibilities of continuing your career with the airlines in a profile as recruiter, trainer or even progress in the same profile as a flight pursuer. However if you wish to switch feilds,Various industries prefer the skills & experience that has been acquired during the tenure with airlines such as:- Hospitality
- Education

Apart from the Physical requirements such as height & fitness & graduation as an educational qualification,Communication skills, service aptitude there is an age group i.e 19-25 years for training,International Airlines recruit flight attendant in the age group of 18-35 years

Hi Rishit,
Yes, it is compulsory for all the member of cabin crew need to have through knowledge of the technical anatomy of the aircraft.It is not only one once at time of training or to achieve the qualification & licenses, but the knowledge is routinely evaluated.
Technical knowledge of the aircraft gears the cabin crew for the safety procedures, emergency landing or take offs, medical emergencies and also equip them to assist the cockpit crew in case of need.
The cabin crew may not need to know how to operate the cockpit machines or actually 'FLY' the aircraft, however the need to be well versed with the opening & closing of the door

 Cabin crew is made up of flight attendants as well as the purser, one who is typically a senior flight attendant but also has additional duties. Some airlines make a bigger deal about the purser and that this is a title or rank above "flight attendant". "Cabin Crew" is a generic term used to refer to all of the airplane's crew who are not working in the cockpit , I mean the "back in the cabin".
