Usually, no, unless it is specified in the job requirements of a certain airline. The training institutes usually offer all the knowledge and skills one needs to excel in this career. Though things like additional languages, personality development workshops, or hospitality background tend to stand out among other CVs.

Air Hostess courses are majorly offered at the certification and Diploma levels. Instead of choosing a specific course, I personally believe you should look for a top institute for Air Hostess that will provide you with the right knowledge and skills, alongside great placement options in India. Meanwhile, you can go for courses like Diploma in Cabin Crew Training, Certificate Course in Aviation, Hospitality and Travel Management, Certificate in Hospitality, Travel and Customer Service, etc.

The Air Hostess qualification for girls and boys is pretty much similar. For example, Class 12 from any stream is mandatory, with a certification or degree that is DGCA-approved. The age limit is also similar for both girls and boys, only there's a minor height difference, which is a minimum of 155 cm (for girls) and 170 cm (for boys). The physical and medical fitness requirements, on the other hand, are the same for both genders.
