To become an Airhostess in India, the process is very simple. You will need to just complete your Class 12 from a recognised board and then meet the eligibility criteria to get admission to an Air Hostess institute.
Get admission to an institute and develop your skills in customer service, personality development, and communication. Once the course is completed, start searching for Airline openings for Cabin Crew positions.
Prepare yourself for interviews and assessments also complete the airline's specific training to qualify for the role.
Hope this helps!!!

Air Hostess courses are majorly offered at the certification and Diploma levels. Instead of choosing a specific course, I personally believe you should look for a top institute for Air Hostess that will provide you with the right knowledge and skills, alongside great placement options in India. Meanwhile, you can go for courses like Diploma in Cabin Crew Training, Certificate Course in Aviation, Hospitality and Travel Management, Certificate in Hospitality, Travel and Customer Service, etc.

The average Air Hostess salary in India is Rs. 5.9 LPA in India but it can totally depend on the airline, experience, and skills of a person to determine their salary. Also the salary of an Air Hostess is based on the type of flights they work for like International flights are high paying if we compare to domestic flights as they include long hours.
Hope this helps!!!

The Air Hostess qualification for girls and boys is pretty much similar. For example, Class 12 from any stream is mandatory, with a certification or degree that is DGCA-approved. The age limit is also similar for both girls and boys, only there's a minor height difference, which is a minimum of 155 cm (for girls) and 170 cm (for boys). The physical and medical fitness requirements, on the other hand, are the same for both genders.

You can join a cabin crew training course if the academy accepts you, but to work as actual cabin crew you must pass airline medical tests, which require full mobility and fitness for safety duties. If your disability limits these abilities, airlines may not hire you, though related roles in hospitality or ground services may be open.

Yes, the courses for Flight Attendant and Cabin Crew can be different, as most institutes design their own programs with a specialised curriculum and syllabus.
The difference between a Flight Attendant and a Cabin Crew course is that a Cabin Crew course provides vast knowledge, including flight attendant duties, aviation management, ground staff, and so on. Meanwhile, a Flight Attendant course only teaches about the duties of Flight Attendants and Air Hostesses.
