IIT Dhanbad accepts the JEE Advanced entrance exam for admission, while MNNIT Allahabad accepts the JEE Main entrance exam for BTech admission. For CSE admission, the JEE Advanced last round closing rank was 3585. MNNIT Allahabad BTech cutoff 2025 closed at 5423. Reviewing the cutoff ranks, IIT Dhanbad is more competitive for CSE admission than MNNIT Allahabad. NIT Allahabad MCA admission is based on a valid score in the NIMCET exam. Students need to graduate in BSc or BCA with Mathematics/ Statistics/ Business Mathematics or BE/BTech with a minimum 60% aggregate in order to be eligible for admission. The University has a decent placement record for BTech. Looking at the past three years (2021 to 2023), a fluctuating trend was observed in the BTech placement rate.
